In Cyprus it is great to buy plots of land in the villages near to Paphos , 15 - 20 minutes as it is a lot more cheaper or I should say you get a lot more for your money! The great thing is that you can buy from 1000 m2 to 30000m2 in which you can build a house and a
swimming pool, and still have a lot of land left over for planting fruit trees
and other plants that you would like. You also have so much more area for the kids to play
or just lounge around in with no worry of disturbing the neighbours.
The advantage of living in a village is that you are back in the nature and out of pollution.
It is a lot safer for the family and a lot more peaceful.
When buying a piece of land you have a great advantage of getting your
title deeds as soon as you pay for the land that you have purchased.That is one
of the biggest advantages, as it takes 4 - 6 years some times with some companies due
to the fact that they have to first seperate each house that they have sold and then
be checked at the land registry, which unfortunatly takes time as we have a lot of
building going on in Cyprus. With the land it is different, because it is only one individual
plot and when you go to the land registery title deeds are given for that piece of
land.
Once you have purchased your land and you put plans in for building permission, you may then go ahead and
build you dream home.
We have found that a lot of people are intrested to build and buy
this way in Cyprus which is a lot to there benefit. We have many pieces of land available which are very fairly
prices.
For Example: buy land for 2000 m2 with 10% building permission, which means that you can build a house
of 200 m2 that is without the pool (covered area only, means what ever has a roof on top).
